Founding Team

Our original team, which came together in June 2022, during World Unity Week, amidst the escalation of the war in Ukraine, emerged out of consultations of the SDG Thought Leaders Circle in recognition of what the Bulletin of Atomic Scientists warned humanity in January 2023, namely, that it stands at 90 seconds before the midnight of unprecedented global catastrophe, largely, though not exclusively, because of the mounting dangers of the war in Ukraine.

We consider Unitive Justice central to addressing SDG 16, Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions, and serving as an interlinkage between all 17 Sustainable Development Goals.

Еvolutionary psychologist and social scientist with expertise on the systemic links between health, culture, language, and moral development. Her Global Unitive Healing won the 2022 silver Nautilus award in the category of rising to the moment.

Associate professor, teaches sustainable development. Served on the Global NGO Executive Committee, focuses on education for global citizenship.

Cosmologist, previously senior international business woman, author of seven internationally published books, latterly of award-winning and best-selling The Cosmic Hologram (2017) and The Story of Gaia (2022), and co-founder WholeWorld-View.

President/Founder of the International Academy for Transcultural Cooperation; former Advisor to the Office of the Special Representative of the Secretary General for Children and Armed Conflict at the United Nations. United Nations Representative for the United Religions Initiative, and Chair Emerita of the NGO Committee on Spirituality, Values and Global Concerns, A Committee of the Conference of NGOs in Consultative Relationship with the United Nations.

Works with Indigenous Peoples from the Americas, Micronesia, South East Asia, China, India, Bhutan, Hawaii, and Africa. Recipient of multiple awards, among which the 2000 Award for Freedom and Human Rights given by the Swiss Foundation. He is host of the Shift Network’s Global Indigenous Wisdom Summits, and member of the American Indian Science and Engineering Society (AISES).

President of Global Security Institute, Permanent Observer for the International Anti-Corruption Academy to the United Nations, Senior Advisor to the Permanent Secretariat of the World Summits of Nobel Peace Laureates and its representative to the United Nations. Recipient of the 2020 Lifetime Achievement Award of the American Bar Association International Law Section, and a 2014 nominee for the Nobel Peace Prize.

Earl Possardt

Wildlife biologist, who has developed international sea-turtle conservation grant programs for the U.S. Department of Interior in over 35 countries, working with communities, stake-holders, universities, and governments.

Maja Groff, Esq.

An international lawyer based in The Hague, and is a Convenor of the Climate Governance Commission and serves as a Co-Chair of the Coordinating Committee for the International Anti-Corruption Court (IACC). She was a co-winner of a major international prize in 2018 on global governance innovation (New Shape Prize), and is a co-author of the 2020 book, Global Governance and the Emergence of Global Institutions for the 21st Century.
